Last week we again continue the lesson with mobile applications. Our friends presented their mobile apps. I learned many apps and I liked most of them :)

12th Week

This week we presented our mobile applications. I chose Voice of America. Voice of America is an english language learning app that allow users to improve their reading and listening skills. App offers users to deliver the latest news. I liked this app much and i’ve started to use it  :)

11th Week

This week we talked about mobile applications for language learning. I know many of them because im also still using. When i become an english teacher I may benefit from mobile applications.

10th Week

This week we again go on with educaplay. We have projects that we did not finish because of time. We complete our unfinished projects.

9th Week

Hi everyone!

Last week we learned educaplay. It is so funny to prepare it as well as using. I think this is more useful than hot potatoe. It is more easy to prepare i liked it :)

8th Week

Hi there!
This week we learned how to use hot potatoe and how to create exercises. This is also our midterm project. I liked hot potatoe i will definitely prepare exercises for my students :)

This week we again talked about using social media with more examples. I learned many other apps and platforms but im still determined that not to use it in my classrooms :)

6th Week

Hi everyone :)
Last week we talked about social media and its effect on language teaching. I think social media is active platform to be available on whenever we want. But in language teaching I don’t think to use social media. It may have advantages but i think it has more disadvantages. Social media takes too much time for students. I like formal education which is taught on blackboard hereby i don’t think to use it much in my classrooms in the future :)

5th Week

This week we learned how to create wiki and podcast. Via podcasts teachers record their voice and students can listen it. Wiki is a funny platform that students can use it to learn language. I liked wiki and when i become an english teacher i will use it definitely. I think edutaining students in a funniest way is the good way for permanent learning.

4th Week

Hello everyone! :)
Today I will tell you what we did last week. Our instructor taught how to create a blog. This blog will effect our average grade %10. We should write what we learn in our course regularly. Blogs are good way to leave an impress on students. Their writing skills may improve through blogs.
I like writing and blog is good platform to develop myself :)

3rd Week

Hellooooo!

In this blog page, we will read my cousin Eda's feedback for our Turkish Food Webquest. 

     Eda is my cousin who is 13 years old. Eda had lots of time to view it. She looked at the categories one by one. The language is good to understand for her age group because she did not have any difficulty about understanding. She liked the arrangement of the page and phases are neat to comprehend for her. Eda’s vision perfection is stronger than her sensory perception, therefore, she liked this Webquest because of several photos that we had downloaded. She learned how to make local foods and she said that she will try it as soon as possible!
